BLOG 10: English language challenges

Hi everyone!

This is the last English blog and today I will talk about English language challenges. Well my experience learning english in the university during these years It has been entertaining, I feel that I have learned a lot more especially when expressing myself and I can put together coherent ideas, since I started in English 2.

Also in the academic field it has helped me because we have subjets that have the language as a pre-requisite and in the test the teachers put texts in English or the most common is that they give us pappers so that we can study for the quiz which are also in english and sometimes too long.

I like to do blogs when I'm not stressed, because It stresses me to think what to write about hahah but seriously writing blogs has helped me to improve my grammar and to let off steam maybe.

I must improve my pronunciation and also the listening, mmm I plan to improve it listening to more music in english, watching series without subtitles and practicing it more with my peers I really hope to do it.

Outside of the hours of the english classes, I do not use much the language, but sometimes with my boyfriend because he studies in the Tronwell this year and he practices much more english and he tries to apply it in his daily life.

Although this is the last level of English, I would like to continue learning, I hope to go abroad and learn the language completely, it is too necessary in life and for the career too.

Finally, Benji is a entertaining teacher and makes english more friendly.

BLOG 8: Summer plans

Hi everyone!
Today I will talk about my summer plans, the truth is that I don't have any plan, so sad. But for this blogg I write about some summer plan yeei!
First, when I finish the semester, I will go home, I don't go since halloween and I miss so much my family, they are in Vallenar city in the third region.
Well , in my city I always go out with my friends and my boyfriend, every summer we go to the beach or we make entertaining plans like going to swimming pool, any panorama to enjoy the summer.
Maybe this summer I will go to Antofagasta city to visit my cousin, almost always I travel, but really I don't know what I will do this holidays specifically.
With my boyfriend we want to go the Valley of Elqui to camp, in that place there is a big lagoon, horses, a camping and in the night there is a party with a big bonfire, It is very entertaining, besides the place is very beautiful, there are many trees, animals, the nature is very cute and the air is clean and very fresh because the climate is very hot, the location is in the fourth region between the mountains, It is a valley.
On the other side I have not talked with my family about what we will do these holidays, but I believe that we will travel together.
I hope I have a great vacation!

BLOG 7: Pets

Hi everyone!
I have small memories of the pet that my grandparents had when I was little (about my 2 years old). She was a cat, her name was "Catalina", but everyone called her "Cucha" (I think they said like that to her because of the sound to call the cats: "cuchito, cuchito"). What my mother told me, when I was learning to walk, I went to Cucha's plate and I stole her food because I ate it hahaha. I also remember that I was so annoying with her, to the point that she got stressed and as a defense she scratched my face and hands. I had a great time with Catalina, but I do not have the memory of the day she left to die, that is why I did not live through that stage of sadness and that's why maybe I never felt it as a part of my life. And maybe I was too little to know this kind of thing.

Actually I have only one pet, a cat. Her name is Blanca and she is 4 years old and I love her so much!!. When me and my mom saw her all we wanted to do was to adopt her, so we did it and I love that she has bequeathed our lives 💞

BLOG 6: Postgraduate Studies

Hi my dear followers!
In the previous blog I spoke about my future job, about what I am studyng, dentistry and today I will talk about my postgraduate studies.
I will like to do a specialty in dentistry, in the previous blog I spoke a little about this. Well I like the maxillofacial surgery because it is a very interesting specialty, It has so much variety of clinical cases, many topics on the area of the neck and all the skull. I will like the subject of the surgery because I could help babies that are born with a patology like cleft lip, also I could help patients with problems in their occlusion, maxillofacial relation and the masticatory function.
I would like to study this specialty in the University of Chile, because it's the best hahah, really it is good in the area, but also I would like to continue learning in another country maybe a postgraduate, masters or a doctorate in psychology,  The human brain. intrigues me so much
The specialty I would like to do full time, and about psychology  the truth I don`t know if I would like distance learning, blended system, part time course, because this depends on  my life in that moment. 
These areas I like too because it relates to many areas of the health, It's a work altogether to help to patient ❤

BLOG 5: My future job

Hi!
Well I had already spoken about I  am studyng dentistry and today I will talk of my future job that it's a little obvious, this is the job that I would like to have. I am not sure if I want to work in the public or private system but at least my first years I believe that I will work in a dentistry consultation and I would like so much to do research during all my career.
Obviously I would like to travel for my career, for investigation and for knowledge ❤ but first I hope that the salary will be enough to be able to travel hahah this is the principal resource.
Also I would like to have a specialty, I like maxillofacial surgery, is very interesting, it has a nice area in the dentist career. On the other side also I like pathology, in Chile there are not more than 50 specialised doctors in that area, in fact this speciality is not very well known but is so interesting too.
In this moment I only want to pass the semester, finish the year and start the fifth semester the next year,  think in my future job is a little utopian but hopefully that everything is as I would like, we are altering constantly!
PD: I love dentistry, the work, the area, everything that can be achieved!

BLOG 4: Ghett'a life film review

Hi my dear followers!
Today I will talk about the film Ghett'a life, a film that shows the reality of Jamaica in the year 2011 dominated by politics.
I like this film because the main character is a young man and shows how he fights in every aspect to fulfill his dreams.
My favorite charcater is Derrick, a fighter that wanted to be champ of small weight and he in spite of all, always tried to get ahead, it is very hard to be in contradiccion of your father and Derrick did it for his dreams and be happy.
One thing that I like of this film is that is very real and shows so much the cruelty and violence that the people live that are in this world, besides it shows the corruption and the mafia that dominates the systems. Something that I didn't like was the quality of the film, it saw with very pixels :(
Finaly, my favorite escene was when Derrick's father came to the fight ring when Derrick was defeated and his father gave him the power to continue the fight and he stands up! 

BLOG 3: Suffragette film review

Hello my dear followers!

Today I will talk about the film "The suffragette", the film was very interesting for me because I knew the history when I was a little girl, my father told me about the feminist movement a long time ago. 
Well, I like the film and my favorite character is Maud because she was a very hardworker, simple and modest woman, besides she loved her son with her soul 😢
In general I liked so much the film, it showed very real the life of the women of that time, all so hard, difficult and very violent due to the patriarchy situation.
The saddest part and I suffered was when, another family removed the son from his mother (Maud), I dislike that scene.
My favorite scene was the end, when the women were in the horses race with all the people and Emmeline decides throw her self to the track to deliver a big message to the world. In addition this part reminded me when my father told me this story and the importance that it had this incident for the women for they could get the vote 💪.
